La Jolla Open

The La Jolla Open is our premier annual National Qualifying Series (NQS) competition and the largest event hosted by the club each year. This exciting competition spans three full days and welcomes over 350 skaters, more than 80 coaches, 30+ judges and officials, families and spectators from across the region.

Hosting an event of this scale requires tremendous teamwork and volunteer support. Volunteers assist with set-up/clean-up, registration, hospitality, ice monitoring, runner coordination, and many other important roles that help ensure the competition runs smoothly and professionally. Participation is coordinated through your private coach, volunteer opportunities are sent out by email before the competition.
