About Us
La Jolla Figure Skating Club, located in Westfield UTC Shopping Center, is a vibrant hub for figure skating enthusiasts. We offer a welcoming environment for skaters of all levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors. Our club hosts the annual La Jolla Open Championships, a U.S. Figure Skating non-qualifying competition, and Skate By the Sea, a fun competition for skaters of various skill levels. We conduct a membership drive every June, allowing skaters to register for US Figure Skating competitions across the country. Additionally, we supervise virtual and in-person testing for Moves in the Field, Freeskate, and other categories, determining the level at which skaters compete. Join our community and participate in events that celebrate achievements and foster a sense of camaraderie.
